Introducing Practical Concepts and Tools for Song-Writing
I invite you all to partake in Beyond Vocals' first Songwriting course, which takes place online in three parts this autumn.

I am collaborating with renowned Danish singer-songwriter Frederik Verdersø on designing this brand-new course which aims to move singers forward with their songwriting skills whilst strengthening their creative direction and understanding of their artistic identity.
Do you struggle with not knowing what you want to say or how you want to say it when writing a song? Are you procrastinating on getting started? Do you feel restricted because you don't play an instrument? Do you not know what style of song you want to write?
We will answer these questions for you and many more and help you move forward with your songwriting whether you are an experienced songwriter or just getting started.
I myself have been going through a long patch of struggling to find my way back to songwriting. I have come to realise that the main cause of feeling constant resistance towards sitting myself down to write came from putting too much importance on the outcome. I was in the mindset of needing to prove something to myself through my writing, which resulted in me over-identifying with the music I was making.

Since starting my writing collaboration with Frederik Vedersø my joy for songwriting has come back with a vengeance, and we have discovered some topics through this process that we'd love to explore in a workshop setting.
We offer these sessions for FREE as a way of learning what YOU need from these sessions and for our future courses we intend to run on the topic.

Frederik Vedersø:
Frederik is a renowned artist and songwriter from Denmark and has released and toured ten albums of his original music with major labels such as Sony, Universal Records, and Warner Brothers.
He has also taught songwriting at Copenhagen Conservatoire.
